Post Christmas Mini-Haul!

December 28, 2014

Hi Everyone!

I have a mini-haul for you today. We hit up the mall since I don’t have a decent one at home and I did a little shopping. I mainly hit up MAC, but I did use up some store credit at Sephora to pick up a couple things as well.

Sephora

I first went to Sephora and despite wandering around for a long time nothing really caught my eye, but I did find two things I have been wanting to try.

Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner- Black Ink

Lately I’ve been back into gel eyeliner so I wanted to try a new kind out. I have been using my Essence gel liner and it’s excellent for the price, but it does fade a little over time. This is supposed to be really long-wearing so I thought I’d give it a try! I just got black since that’s what I use most of the time. Finger’s crossed this is a winner!

Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick- Outlaw

The second and last thing I got from Sephora is a liquid lipstick from Kat Von D. I have never tried anything from this line, but I’ve been hearing good things about these lipsticks so I thought I’d take a look at the shades. There weren’t tons to choose from, but this shade in Outlaw caught my eye. These dry to be completely matte and pretty budge-proof from what I can see. I swatched this in the store and even make-up remover didn’t get it all off. If this is as good on as it was swatched, I’ll be wearing it out!

MAC Matte Lipstick- Pink Plaid

Moving onto MAC, the first thing I picked up was a new pink lipstick. I have been searching for the perfect everyday pink that’s not too brown, too frosty or too light. This is a really nice medium blue-toned pink, that I’m hoping will be what I was looking for. I haven’t worn it yet, so we’ll see!

MAC Tan Pigment

Next, I picked up Tan Pigment. I have been on a pigment kick and this is right up my alley. This is beyond stunning and the perfect rose gold. I can’t wait to wear this, it will be so beautiful all over the lid.

MAC Mineralize Skinfinish- Perfect Topping

Lastly I bought the MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in Perfect Topping. I haven’t really heard much about this, but I swatched it in store and it looked like it would be a pretty highlight. It’s light enough, but it has some pink which I think will compliment my skin tone.

So there you have it, my mini-haul! I hope you enjoyed this post and let me know in the comments below what’s in your post-christmas haul!

Bye for now!

After Christmas shopping is the best! I haven’t tried any lipsticks from Essence, their displays are ridiculously small in my store. I love their blushes though.
